Rent properties in bad condition |
|
|
Tenants expect a rental to be in very good condition as they do not want to spend money on a property that does not belong to them. Leaking roofs, termite infestations, non working toilets, flickering power lines, leaking pipes, collapsing ceilings, run down wall paper, faded paint all turn tenants off. Make sure the property you are renting is habitable enough and is a place that you would not mind living in yourself. In some cases, tenants would ask for some basic appliances as a TV, refrigerator, microwave, stove, airconditioners, heaters, bidets, washer and dryers and etc. If the rental is good and the existing appliances are not working then you should be open to replacing them to keep your tenant renting your property for a longer period of time. Remember, there are other properties out there with landlords who are willing to provide their requirements.
