Demanding to always be present in every property viewing E-mail
Many sellers feel compelled to make themselves present in every property viewing. They feel that they can answer any question about their property and they see themselves as the only people who can answer tough objections thrown at them. Unfortunately, these people do not realize that licensed Realtors who specialize in the area that their property is in, would know more about real estate economics, property trends, competing developments, taxes and laws, restrictions, future developments and current prices in that area. Many times, owners who show up in viewings give contradicting statements to what the trained Realtor has briefed the client before the appointment. Do not try to do the Realtor’s job for him. Let the professional do his job. Similarly, if your loved ones suffers a heart attack, it does not make sense that you personally operate on them. Let a cardiologist handle a heart condition and let a Realtor handle a property transaction. Remember, your property is not the only one your prospective buyers will be looking at. They will be looking at a few other properties which you have not seen and you need a professional who can creatively compare the beauty of your property against your competition.
