Who pays for the repairs of the rental properties?

Major repairs that are not caused by tenant negligence are charged to the landlord. These repairs are categorized as those that are over P5,000 pesos. Tenants who accidentally break something in the property that require major repairs have to pay for these repairs themselves. Minor repairs, such as those costing less than P5,000, whether caused by tenant negligence or normal wear and tear, are charged to the tenants. Minor repairs that have been neglected by the tenants that caused a major problem needing a major repair are classified as negligence and are charged to the account of the tenant.  < Prev   Next >
